[03/25] WWE Monday Night Raw: A TNA Impact! showcase: Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe

I had to call it quits near the end of hour two when they were doing the segment w/Braun and the guys from SNL.

Creative for RAW has done a piss poor job of building their half of the RAW card of WrestleMania. I'll go on to say that the last 3-4 yrs the build towards WM have been trash each year.

Though I’m confident the Match will
Deliver , The lack of Rollins/Lesnar interacting is pretty horrible.. the build up for every fued other than Becky/Ronda/Chuck, Kofi/D Bry and shyt even Drew/Roman have been lazy and uninspiring for Mania Seaaon.


PTrips been taking a lot of WM L’s so that’s obvious he is finally going over TNT. All the Midcard and Tag titles have no sort of substance whatsoever.Asuka booking though I thought she was overhyped/overrated from the jump, has been downright abysmal . Orton/AJ has been decent and actually stretched out duration wise dare I say perfect.

Kofi getting his crowning moment is the only thing this Mania I’m looking forward to at all ,and even than I have my doubts they’ll do the right thing .. Their A1 video packages won’t be able to salvage this uninspired build up.. we echo this thought often , but I honestly really don’t remember a Road to WrestleMania this awful the whole past decade

Looking at the wikipedia page it's officially a Fatal 4 Way for the Women's Tag Titles with Boss Hugg, Natty/Beth, Iconic Duo and Nia/Tamia why did they shoehorn Nia and Tamia in this? Their spot should have gone to the Sky Pirates and put both Nia and Tamia in the Women's Jobber Battle Royal where they belong.

The IIconics are the ones who don't belong, they've done nothing but come out to crickets since debuting on the main roster.

Pointless Beat the Clock match with Charlotte/Becky/Ronda

Another lame Seth/Heyman promo

Pretty much a rehash of last week where the three women’s tag teams brawl

Braun continuing his feud with the Weekend Update guys

Triple H went all comedy Triple H all of a sudden but he did imitate Batista, which was funny I guess

And Drew McIntyre killed Ambrose again

Revival lost again

Best part of the show was Joe returning the headbutt from Angle’s TNA debut

Raw has been below average the last 3 weeks. How are they continuing to fukk this up.

Why did they hype the women’s match headlining like we ain’t already know that for almost two months now?

Why are they forcing the inclusion of so many unover un interesting people.

The women’s tag title match should feature 1 team from each show (nxt, Smackdown, nxt uk and raw) this isn’t complicated, this would tie into the idea of the belt being defended on each brand. Instead we got 2 undeserving raw teams and a Smackdown team that hasn’t done shyt. why are they forcing Beth and natty? Beth’s beef should be with nia and Tamina since they jumped her. Why does she deserve a title shot?

I get why they are doing with drew but it feels thrown together. Drew hasn’t done shyt since Roman been out. But now he is a big deal.

I get why they are doing with drew but it feels thrown together. Drew hasn’t done shyt since Roman been out. But now he is a big deal.

Raw needs to do better, it’s the worst show in the company. It’s all over the place and they keep shoehorning Smackdown talent cause they know Smackdown knows how to get people over.

I don't mind McIntyre/Reigns b/c I think McIntyre will be Universal Champion by the summer. After some of stuff they've done w/Drew I don't mind them building him up as a credible threat to Roman. Also when Drew beat Rollins two weeks ago that seed can be used towards a Rollins/McIntyre feud later if Seth wins at WM.

I don't mind SD or RAW talent cross-branding on both shows during WrestleMania season. It only helps the product but it should only be done around that time. RAW is going to be in the shyts until Vince steps down. After Mania I'm going back to watching SD & NXT.

God damn Kurt looks dead. I mean, he's moved and looked like a zombie for years, but the clips of the match with Joe he looked like he now ages in dog years match by match. He looked to be in physical agony just moving, his bumps for even the most basic things like snapmares look like he almost broke his neck again. Maybe it's a good thing his farewell match is with Corbin and it can be a short squash where he doesn't have to do anything but pull the straps down and put the ankle lock on.
