They fukked the money up with Darby/Sammy as a Quarterfinal match instead of the Final.

Not only is the feud already built-in and tailor-made for Darby to chase Sammy over a few PPVs before finally getting the gold, but it would've been looked back at as THE launchpad for both of them when they inevitably end up in the Main Event scene.

The tournament is likely still gonna be flames, but that seemed like an ally oop that was practically gifted to them.

Heard that they've been taping over the past couple of days - I think Pollock and Ting talked about it - it's overdue.

As far as the tournament. I think I'd prefer Sammy as TNT champ, personally. There's a story to him eating continuous L's for a minute and either finally putting the pieces together or just having Inner Circle interfere on his behalf all the way. Darby chasing is where the money is.
