This or a full New Day turn is happening. There is legit no other way to go. Just don't know if the turn will result in Kofi winning or losing the match. Maybe Kofi fails and E turns on him out of frustration. ND been putting all their energy into Kofi getting the shot only for him to lose
If they do split up the New Day, I would do it like this:
On the SD after Mania, The New Day have a big 'celebration', thats interrupted by Daniel Bryan, along with Rowan and a returning Luke Harper. This leads to a six man mach at the end of the show, which New Day wins.
The following week is the Shake-Up. The New Day comes out for an 'uninterrupted' celebration at the end of the show. They reminisce with the fans and run down all their past achievements and classic moments, when Shane McMahon arrives to say "you're not allowed to be here, you are now a part of Raw". They assume he's talking to all three of them, then he says "oh no, E and Xavier, you guys can stay. It's Kofi that has to leave."
So now Kofi, WWE champion is on Raw while Seth Rollins, Universal Champ is on SD.
The next time we see Kofi, E, and Woods together is the following PPV backstage. They talk about how strange it is not coming out to thering together anymore, but Kofi tells them it doesn't matter, cause "we always gonna be New Day, y'all always gonna be my brothers", etc...
Sometime during the course of the summer, Kofi's newfound spotlight and status as WWE champion has gone to his head. Little by little, he displays "Hollywood"-ish behavior and eventually becomes a full-fledged heel.
At SummerSlam, we see Kofi backstage being arrogant and obnoxious, when he runs into Big E and Xavier, who by then are tag champions. He smugly congratulates them, while they wonder where he's been. They've tried to get in touch with him and he's avoided them, and he doesn't even try to see his family anymore. He brushes them off, telling them he can't talk about that right now, because he's gotta get ready for the main event. He walks away from them.
At Survivor Series, Big E is on the SD team whereas Kofi is on the Raw team. Kofi isn't champion anymore by this point, but still considers himself 'the face of the A-show'. At one point during this match, Kofi is hit with the Big Ending and pinned by Big E, eliminated from the match.
At the Royal Rumble, Kofi eliminates Big E and spends so much time taunting, he is thrown out by Xavier. Just when Kofi is about to do one of his famous Rumble spots to avoid elimination, hopping on one foot, Big E kicks the other foot out, causing Kofi to hit the floor. This causes both of them to fight all the way to the dressing room.
After a few more run ins, with Xavier trying to be the mediator between the two, a match is made for Mania: Big E vs Kofi Kingston with Xavier as special ref.
At Mania 36, Kofi defeats E after biased officiating from Xavier, who decides to side with Kofi. He also wants to live the lifestyle Kofi is now living. Now Kofi continues to play the role of a heel "superstar", with Woods as somewhat of a flunkie. Meanwhile E continues to be on Smackdown where he flourishes as a singles competitor.
Nah..Blandy should be champion again and Lashley vs Lesnar is what Lesnar needs to do.WWE Universal Title

I would’ve done it differently.. if I were to book it based off what they have now then I’d go off a couple months ago, Vince was pushing AJ to be on top of SD and HHH was pushing Seth to be on top of Raw.... I would’ve had that lead toWWE Universal Title
