WrestleMania ain’t felt like WrestleMania since 31, every match had a story that made sense and had been months in the making (except for the IC Title ladder match). Every WM since has just been on some Universe Mode shyt.
shyt doesnt even feel the same. It feels like they're promoting wrestlemania based off the name and not putting any heart into the storylines they produce.
It's like they wake up March 1st and realize "oh shyt, wrestlemania is 30 something days way, we gotta start doing something".
But watch the hype become real the day of wrestlemania

"Used to" is the key phrase as the last time there was a year long storyline culmination at WM was over 20 years ago at WM 12. Even Taker vs HBK story from 25 to 26 wasn't like a year long angle, it was hinted at a few times during the year and didn't really pick up until WM season like every Taker feud. At best, you can get a Summerslam to WM build, but really the "long builds" for Wrestlemania matches over the past idk 2 decades has been teased at Survivor Series ignored until Rumble.It used to be based on "a culmination of year long storylines"
