Hogan, Austin, Rock, Savage, Hart, Yoko, Flair, HBK would have never gotten over if there was two champs. It’s always been the dumbest shyt ever post the Invasion and being that they don’t really treat both shows like real separate brands.

They most definitely treated both shows differently during the first brand split. RAW was more about storylines and Smackdown was more about the matches. Plus both shows had their own ppvs.

Brand split would have been if they actually treated it like it was 2 different companies and just had an annual PPV that was Raw vs SD. And not Survivor Series which has been completely diluted by turning it into Raw vs SD

Because it makes the man look stupid. Marc Mero lost out on a match against Stone Cold, because they had Mero lose to Sable the week before. Stone Cold told the bookers that they needed to come up with another opponent, because facing a man that just got beaten by a woman made the match pointless.
