I agree, I mean at least if you gonna have match after match, at least have some promos before or after the matches. I was watching a Raw from 98 on the Network and damn near every match had an in ring promo before or after the match and the matches weren’t that long either, the longest would be like 6 minutes.

Fast forward to 2016 and Roman Reigns vs Rusev lasted damn near 45 minutes

I don’t mind long matches as long as it makes sense, take this Corbin/McIntyre/Miz match, this shyt should be no longer than 5 minutes.
