Exactly my point. They didn’t see Cena as some future superstar. He was generic wearing generic shyt and no one knew who he was. The WWE fans know who Melo is.

Cena was on the verge of being fired a year later. And if they actually did see him as a HBK why would they job him out in his FIRST match on the main roster. Makes no sense.
