I still don't understand why they got rid of the rematch clause. If you ask me, it's just an excuse to avoid doing matches they're not interested in right now.

Roman holds the title for over 1,000 days and doesn't demand a rematch.

Rhea loses to Iyo and bytches and moans for weeks because she was never given a rematch.

Cody gets screwed out of the title after holding it for an entire year and not once did he try challenging Cena to a rematch.

Jey loses the title back to Gunther and gets put in KOTR instead of being given a rematch at Night of Champions.

When Brock lost the title to Bobby, he wanted a rematch two nights later and this was after he won the Rumble, so he didn't even need it. I guess Triple H hates the rematch clause, but he didn't understand why it was there in the first place.
