GREAT match between Omega/SANADA

It was a great match although it followed typical Gedo structure of the first half being all about Sanada's leg being targeted, then the leg being completely ignored for the second half of the match and not playing into the finish at all. Half of Okada's defenses were in the exact same type of match.

I wouldn't put that on Gedo at all to be honest. That's been part of New Japan main event style for a long time now, sadly more and more wrestlers are picking up on it but I don't give booking much responsibility on that regard.

Yeah the work on the leg for 30 mins only to see Nakamura throw 30 knee strikes or Tanahashi jump over the top rope and do 5 frog splashes has been standard in NJ for a decade now.

From what I've heard over the years, his family is rich so you can't hold a pay day over his head.

Credit where it's due though - Vince tried to sign both Ibushi and Saber Jr. after the Cruiserweight Classic and they both told him to . Smart move because right now they could have been performing to crickets every week on 205 Live, instead of turning up in the G1.

Also - He LOVES fukkery.

The story is that the promoters of DDT somehow got access to an apartment block that was scheduled for demolition. I don't know if they said how.

Basically Ibushi goes from floor to floor having matches in apartments like 'Game Of Death'. He's followed by a camera crew and a group of fans that include a girl who is waaaaay too young to see some of the stuff she's shown.

You literally have no idea what you'll see each time he opens the door.

Live Audio Wrestling did a good review of it a couple of years ago, if you can't find the video.
