I still rank Shibata's match against Okada higher than all of the Omega matches, and Okada's match against Naito at WK was just as good, but its legacy got deflated and forgotten because there is not a single person alive (outside of Gedo) who wanted to see that finish.

Again, nothing against Omega's talent because he could step into any other promotion and be the top man immediately, but this is NJPW where great workers meet extraordinary workers.

Kenny keeps on winning, even though we all knew it from the start, it's officially a 3 man race on Block B. Osaka is gonna be key as expected. Omega vs Ishii will determine how many options are left to keep the intrigue going into the block's final day at Budokan.

Ishii pretty much has to win to keep things open, a draw is also an option but that would only leave Naito with a chance and it would make it obvious he's beating Ibushi later that night. If Kenny beats Ishii he pretty much locks his spot in the Finals which would be beyond weird having 2 more days left for the block and a huge show in Budokan that wouldn't have any stakes in it, I just can't see that happening.



PS: The wild card is of course Yano, man would it be hilarious if he costs Kenny 1 or 2 points in the second to last day of the block

Is anything in A Block going to be worth a shyt besides Okada vs Tanahashi 37? I did watch Suzuki/Tanahashi (fukking sucked, it was basically a redo of the shytty Suzuki/Okada title match last year) and Suzuki/Elgin (also wasn't entertaining at all), but have skipped everything else completely. It's genuinely comical at how little effort or interest was put into it.

So I finally got to watch some of them Tanahashi matches..... and wow.

Ok...... dude is pretty good. I liked the Shinsuke match..... at first I kinda chalked that up as "ok I only like that match cuz he was in there with Shinsuke and I'm a fan of his"

But then going through some of the others ones..... yall sold me.

Dude is legit.

Too bad I missed him in his prime and hearing all the "he saved NJPW, he put it on his back" from the commentators.

I hope this happens, Yano cheats all match and at the end Kenny gets frustrated and does too but he gets caught cuz Yano too much of a Vet in dirtbag tactics and gets a DQ win.

Yo.... I'm not sure if Rocky Romera has done a lot of the NJPW commentary in the past..... but he is good. I like this team they got and he be killing me with how he be shytting on Bushi in Los InGob and just the banter he be having about his Chaos brehs.

That match today with Switchblade and the Roppongi cats was hilarious.
