Kenny keeps on winning, even though we all knew it from the start, it's officially a 3 man race on Block B. Osaka is gonna be key as expected. Omega vs Ishii will determine how many options are left to keep the intrigue going into the block's final day at Budokan.

Ishii pretty much has to win to keep things open, a draw is also an option but that would only leave Naito with a chance and it would make it obvious he's beating Ibushi later that night. If Kenny beats Ishii he pretty much locks his spot in the Finals which would be beyond weird having 2 more days left for the block and a huge show in Budokan that wouldn't have any stakes in it, I just can't see that happening.



PS: The wild card is of course Yano, man would it be hilarious if he costs Kenny 1 or 2 points in the second to last day of the block

You never know with the two. I could see a Double Countout with both em taped to the rails.

Its sucks majority of wrestlers are eliminated before Osaka. You pull a two day shows at the arena and only 4 matches are worth a fukk.

With SANADA eliminated, the side story with Naito kinda lost unless he eliminated Naito.

Block A also becomes officially a 3 man race with Tanahashi, White and Okada. White has the tie breaker on both on them so either Makabe in Osaka or EVIL at Budokan (most likely) will spoil his chances for the Finals.


BTW, I think this tournament has drawn more than last year in every single venue except 1. Really interested on the 2 shows prior to the Finals (which has been sold out for a while now) because they have two very different and distinct main events. I think Ibushi vs Omega might get close to a sell out but I have no clue what Okada vs Tana will draw, if they get 8k (half the building) that day it would be a success imo

Kenny/ZSJ was a big disappointment. Felt like it never really went into high gear. Ibushi/Goto was also a bit of a disappointment, in part because everything is after Ibushi/Ishii, and partly because now Goto's big desperate spots I've seen in every match and they've lost their impact.

True. The only other things I thought of that would be interesting involved Kenny having to take an L before the Ibushi match. Yano about to have knocked off BOTH the Golden Lovers incoming?
