Anthony Joshua was a little lighter Friday for his fight against Robert Helenius on Saturday night than he was for his previous bout.
Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs), a former IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion from Watford, England, stepped on the British Boxing Board of Control’s scale at exactly 250 pounds. Finland’s Helenius (32-4, 21 KOs) officially came in at 249.4 pounds.
Their 12-round, non-title fight will headline an eight-bout card at O2 Arena in London.
Joshua, 33, came in at 255¼ pounds for his last fight, a 12-round, unanimous-decision victory over American Jermaine Franklin (22-2, 14 KOs) on April 1 at O2 Arena. His victory over Franklin marked Joshua’s debut with respected American trainer Derrick James in his corner.
Helenius, 39, was about the same weight as he was last Friday, when he weighed in for his third-round stoppage Mika Mielonen (6-1, 6 KOs) last Saturday night at Olavinlinna, a castle in Savonlinna, Finland.
The 6-foot-6 Helenius will fight for the second time in just eight days when he opposes Joshua. He replaced Joshua’s rival, Dillian Whyte, who was removed from their rematch due to “adverse analytical findings” in performance-enhancing drug tests administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.
The official weights for the streamed portion of the Joshua-Helenius undercard are listed below.

Joshua is so damn corny. He did the same thing with Usyk but got shook when he wouldn't back down during their face off. He SHOULDN'T lose this fight, but dude is so weak mentally I really don't know sometimes :francis: .
AJ loses focus for 10 secs and gets caught changes the damn event and narrative!

Bank on that!
