false sense of security? :heh:..he was knocked out by gerald washington and duhaupas :heh:..decisioned by whyte in an ugly fight...stop projecting..wilder isnt the only guy to stop him :heh:

And? This is the Heavyweight Division, it can all end with one punch. AJ has a tendency to have lackadaisical when he's trading punches with is opponent. Can't just rely on trying to knock the guy out. Especially when that guy has punching power as well

what's AJ going to learn or gain from this fight?
Maybe just confidence if he wins by stoppage or gets time to practice things he's learnt with Derrick. Helenius is a similar height to Wilder too. Was a very late replacement so it is what it is, probably better to fight than not fight assuming he wins so he can keep active.

AJ should dispose of Helenius quickly, inside 6 rounds. Get a couple of rounds in. Try some things you've been working with DJ on and get him out of there.

I think it's a good stay busy fight.

Honestly, I think Wilder was probably trying the same thing but Helenius got a little too carried away pressing forward :dead:
