First car. Could probably haggle the price down by 2 grand according to CarGurus. Should I snipe it or nah? Coli car experts, you know what to do.

My first answer is nope because it's out of warranty and has a first car you aren't used to car repair surprises especially being a benz. The c300 is also crap, if you can't get the c350 don't even bother.

I suggest you look into those years c-class and see frequent occuring problems. Then see how much it cost to repair. After that add in regular service cost and if that fits your bill.

For 13-15, I'd suggest you get a sporty like japanese car for a first car.

I owned a 09 C63 (same model but different in various ways), it had problems all the time leaving me stranded a lot. Not sure about the C300 but please take some time and research common problems.

I'd look at like 2016 maxima, 2015 acura TLX, infiniti q50 around that price range. You shouldn't buy a car that's almost or already a decade old. You would be right at the perfect depreciation curve and will lose minimal of value with there updated style.

I feel you already missed the opportunity for depreciation curve for a LS460, it's too old for today standard

There’s also an ‘15 Accord for $16,999 on that same lot

I wouldn't bother buying an Accord when you can easily get the other 3 options I listed for the same price.
In order of reliability would be the Acura > Maxima > Infiniti

Edit*
Current examples around me:

Used Nissan Maxima For Sale - CarGurus

Used INFINITI Q50 For Sale - CarGurus

Used Acura TLX For Sale - CarGurus

word? Thought Accord was the king of affordability, but if I can get the affordability and style of those options then shyt, may have to pull the trigger on one of those

What would you rather have a Accord that was what 26K and buy it for 15K or a Acura that was 42K and is 15K?
That accord will be worth 11-12K by next year.
