Can one of you brehs who mess with boxing more see if this correlates.

Did Broner going up in weight class begin his descent? Or was he already losing? I dont remember i just recall someone saying he was moving up in a weight class im not sure if he is still there or not could of went back down.

@NatiboyB

He moved up weight classes out of cockiness really. Paulie had a belt in dat division and is known as a soft puncher, and small welterweight, so he figured it would be a nice notch on his resume. He fought maidana after that, who is a bigger and stronger welterweight and hasnt been the same since.

He cant go back two weight classes now, his body outgrew the division, plus he doesnt really take care of his body

I think it’s the mixture of the weight jump, Broner not being as good as ppl thought he was and Broner being undisciplined out of the ring.
Broner would’ve been more successful had he stayed at 135 imo but he’d still lost to the elite.

Not sure thats good enough for Floyd to greenlight the rematch...

Realistically speaking though, you can't expect two 40 year old fighters who put up the biggest disappointing fight of the century to command more than 1.5 million buys...

i think the final number now is over 400,000 but yeah i have no interest in those 2 facing each other again..let them each go after the young champs in the division

Watching the epilogue of this fight I damn near feel bad for Broner being that delusional. SMH @ his family (maybe his sister?) saying “I hope he doesn’t say anything crazy” right before he did the Jim Grey interview.
