I hate renting right now. Lining the pockets of another mofo and covering their HOA fees. 
Smart-dumb nikkas following this cac and his insanity sure are quiet now. My niece trying to rent a 800 square foot apartment for 1350 a month right now in the middle of a pandemic. Her old lease went up. She moves damn near every year because Atlanta rents have been skyrocketing. My mortgage on a 3600 sq. foot house, fully renovated is 950 a month on a 15 year Jumbo. We have 4 years left on it and then we are mortgage free. If one of us loses our jobs, our side hustles could easily pay the mortgage. I bought my house when the market was down for 120k short sale, renovated the bytch exactly how i wanted it. Bargain shopped and haggled for everything Full finished basement/mancave.........20k for the entire renovation projects. now it is worth 275k. How can you beat that?
