SMACKDOWN LIVE 1/24/17 - Good, Bad & Ugly Recap

Now see Smackdown realized how you are supposed to end the go home show before a Royal Rumble PPV...instead of having 3 part-timers staring at one another for an uncomfortable amount of time what you do is have a lumberjack match that ends in all of the lumberjacks in the ring beating the hell out of one another.

:kang1: running flabdown low key also

If AJ wasn't such a gentleman and scholar, he should really fire back at Cena's quip about "He gets more done in a day than AJ does in a career."

"Well John, I could do all those things you do as well,if I had as much time on my hands as you do, but I got more important things when I'm not beating up John Cena, like provide and take care of my 4 children. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you John, because YOU DON'T WANT NONE."

you actually thought this was clever? :hhh:

fell asleep so I only caught the first match and the mickie james segment. That segment was very well done. Mickie's promo was good and made sense. Becky coming out pissed off looking for a fight instead of a back and forth talk show segment was logical booking. considering mickie cost her the title a couple times. the setup with alexa was good and so was the beat down. I'm a fan of groups, stables, etc in wrestling so I like the pairing of alexa and mickie, even if its not a permanent one.

The live experience was lit brehs :wow: had some good seats a little to the left of center on the camera side. It was pretty close to a sellout in the arena. It was American Alpha versus Fandango and Tyler Breeze in a pre-match before the start of the show. American Alpha won in like 5 mins. They got a huge pop, everyone seemed to be into them.

Randy Orton was CRAZY over in his match against Harper, it actually kinda surprised me. Fans were booing Harper heavy at certain points. Good back and forth physical match. Crowd was kinda expecting the turn on Harper

Was happy as fukk I got to see Naomi, Maryse, Thickie and Alexa in person :wow: fans popped pretty loud for Naomi, as she was unexpected. I hope she gets a real push.

The Styles/Cena segment was LIT brehs :wow: AJ had a GODLY pop when he came out. And to my surprise, Cena got good amount of cheers, it was like 50/50. I really dig all of Styles/Cena segments on TV so to experience one live was great.

Ambrose got a decent pop and the lumberjack match was really good,I wasn't really excited when it was announced but the match was fun.

They announced that the main event after 205 Live would be Styles/Cena for the WWE championship. Cena won by DQ in like 10 mins after Styles got intentionally disqualified for a low blow. It was interesting that they kept the 205 live graphics and ropes up for the match lol probably because it took like 15 people to change them after Smackdown. The match was good, got to see AJ do the phenomenal forearm :wow:

Overall it was a great show to be at in person. My Lil niece went with me and my girl. Got tons of pics and videos. My girl was super excited that Cena was there :martin:

They announced that they're coming back for a Smackdown on May 23rd, so we gone jump on the tickets early and get even better seats that time.

Im taking the hour trip for the show in May since I boycotted the show last month
