He shelled up against Garcia.
Actually , both guys shelled up, and Thurman came away with a boring win.
Thurman is definitely not above shelling up, as I’ve seen him do it.
this..the only time ive seen a fighter successfully make Keith fight, regardless of movement or defense, is porter...porter put keith under pressure from the opening bell and thats why cats swore up and down that porter won that fight and why the scores were so close
he basically let Thurman glide in the ring, hopping laterally, only rarely tried to stop him on his tracks with a hook, he mostly seemed content to only attack Keith when he's on the ropes but it was hard for him to acquire such position cause Thurman is just much quicker on his feet than him, rusty or not. Of course this approach also could have raised the risk of a KO loss to Lopez but imo there would be more point to it than be patient with an opponent who doesn't stand in front of you and always moving.
to Lopez ( who may been on the juice)was relentless and how he just kept coming forward up until about the 10th was impressive. Really good fight In all.

To all the clowns and naysayers

case and point
this was supposed to be a tune up after 2 years of inactivity hence why many didn't complain about this fight but he damn near stopped him
had Thurman's eyes more crossed than the refs after the left hook that started it all
