Eh i doubt it was that mostly . I think they trying to explain to fans who look at him and go the TNA guy ?? Why is he a big deal wwe? Remember NJPW is niche here in the US so majority of fans if they know him is from TNA . they had king be the hater and saxton and Mauro be the voices of the knowledgable fan . In the past he would have all the announcers doubting his credibility and be scraping by with fluke wins
