All the tag matches were completely skippable, although the Liger match was fun for the old timers getting some shine. Also at Juice's new look.

Mox/Archer was Mox working like it's 2016 don't give a fukk mode and not even attempting to have his strikes be anywhere near connecting. I wonder if he's got another infection, he's looked lethargic and soft for weeks and is wearing a bandage over that spot again.

Ospreay/Hiromu was really good, enjoyed Ospreay being a vicious dikk head and attacking the neck the entire match. He should be bumped up to heavyweight starting tonight and should have a good run. The flying space tiger drop spot was such a crazy show of athleticism all around.

Naito/White-o was dull as fukk. Jay White is boring and his gimmick is to get heel heat instead of win matches, which doesn't fit with NJ's style (and this has always been a problem with Bullet Club to me), and I long ago completely checked out of Naito thanks to this booking story going on for 5 years now. It's like being expected to give a shyt about Goto at this point.

Okada/Ibushi from the point Ibushi went into the realm was fantastic, but lolokadawins. I guess if you're finally going to crown Naito as the man at least 3 years late to the party, it should probably be over Okada, but of course it would not be a surprise in the least for Okada to win and unify the titles. However I really wasn't particularly jazzed for another Ibushi/Naito match, but it felt like Ibushi's time and I'm afraid he's going to get the same Naito treatment of waiting to pull the trigger until his popularity and peak have already passed and people start to lose interest.

I'm retracting my earlier statements. The breh @Scottie Drippin had me go and rewatch both matches. Yeah I'm feeling the Ibushi/Okada match more on rewatch. I'm feeling 4.25 stars and White-O/Naito is the 3-3.5. Wasn't dead tired on the rewatch and yeah, that finishing sequence alone was better than the IC match. It still felt off idk. Might have to do with Okada's style of starting slow as turtle shyt just outright clashing with Ibushi that it felt off.

Mox Japan run is a lot better than I expected I had absolutely no faith in him until the Ishii joint, then the fukkery w shooter

Naito & White would have been a much better match if they just didn't bother with all the leg work that amounted to nothing & cut that time out. Naito was selling the leg, slapped it a couple times, & then sprinting around the ring jumping over the top rope in & out of the ring.

Didn't sell it at all for another 5 minutes until White hit the leg again before just deciding fukk it & half selling it the rest of the way

It's almost mandatory at this point that Okada's first 10 to 15 minutes of his matches are basically a segment that could've been 4 minutes. He drags a very basic point to death until it's time to start moving things along.

I think he's been the best "closer" of matches for the past 5 years at least, and it's pretty incredible how he continues to create incredible climatic and very long final sequences that have the fans going nuts. This Ibushi match was just another example of that. But he also got stuck in this overtly long formula were it's very, very hard to be engaged with the beginning unless you are very into Okada, his opponent or the style (which the longer you watch, the older it gets).

I think a lot of people who stayed up/woke up to watch the show who think the IC match is better than the main will flip if/when they watch it with fresh eyes.

Okada/Ibushi is a great match while also clearly operating as "first" in a series and leaving a LOT on the table.

don't see much of the hype in Naito, he's kinda boring
