Pretty solid Dixie appearance on Keller's podcast. He was pretty complimentary of TNA's recent direction and the first show. Good listen if you fukks with that Total Nonstop.

PWTorch Livecast - Wade Keller talks live w/Taz & TNA President Dixie Carter

Cliffs:
-Dixie believes they've found the right partnership with Pop. Admits that she basically settled on Destination America because they didn't have proper time to find a partner. Says her meetings with Pop included big time CBS and Lionsgate execs that may lead to out-of-ring opportunities for her talent. Claims just about everybody on the roster expressed confidence in Pop to her after spoken to directly by Pop's CEO.

-Says the company is listening to fan feedback more than ever. Stuff like getting James Storm back was a direct result.

-Says ring action is the company's strong suit, but acknowledges that they kinda fell off and are working to get back to that level.

-Says to expect more new talent debuts in upcoming shows.

-Says WWE leaving PPV has created some provider opportunities for them. Hopes to eventually get to 4 live PPVs a year, then maybe 6.

-Will continue to tape episodes. Wants to make better use of the downtime between tapings (i.e. filming off-site stuff).

-Says TNA is still self-sufficient and that she's proud of that. Says that they've taken expensive chances in the past that didn't pay off.

-Says the tag and knockouts divisions will be back.

-Says Mike Bennett hasn't scratched the surface on his potential. Puts over Maria for being extremely smart to the business. They're very involved in how their characters are presented — TNA isn't handing scripts to their wrestlers, thought they obviously control the direction of the show.

If they want to bring back their knockouts division, they need to throw some money at those Joshi girls before Paul raids them as well.

I really need to get back in the groove of watching everything again because I thought James Storm was in NXT now but IT just heard he signed a lucrative deal with TNA :dead:

What the hell happened?

According to him, TNA just offered a better deal and he took it. Think he wrestled like 2 matches on NXT.

Is was kinda boring. Just okay at best. I ended up watching some foreign stream because that one was pure garbage.

Crowd was horrible too. I think they gave Grado more feedback than they gave Beer Money, for example. TNA has to find a way to get in and out of these towns. Staying there for 4-5 days results in a lot of dead crowds.

Bennett's debut left a lot to be desired, though he had moments.

I don't know why Shane Helms keeps coming out - hopefully he's teasing a talent and not trying to wrestle himself.

Kong is wack these days. I hate to say it, but she either sucks now or is depressed that WWE didn't work out. And enough of her vs. Gail Kim.

Mandrews has to change that stupid gimmick.

fukk Grado and anybody who thinks its okay to have him on TV.

Beer Money turned in a good performance, as expected.

They did have a few new knockouts and debuted Cherry Bomb's man Pepper Parks...maybe she's on the way?

You could realize it was a terrible crowd when they were chanting for Crazzy Steve :mjlol:

oh yeah, I forgot about that! The most over dude of the night. :dead:

Yep, he even did a spot where he road the skateboard down the ramp into a hurricanrana. Terrible.
