There are 2 types of democrats:
1. Corporate democrats who just like to eat off campaign donations and who only ever talk to donors. They're the equivalent of a high level supervisor you never see, like the regional manager who only maybe shows up once in a year or two but will send news letters and other announcements. These are people like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Jerry Connolly, hakeem jeffries. Etc.
2. Public servants that actually care about how voters are doing and want to craft policies based off what they've said would help them. They're like your direct supervisor at work who takes feedback from you at staff meetings and tries to brainstorm some ideas for what can be done in the office and then what they need to escalate higher up. That's people like bernie, jasmine Crockett, Alexandria ocasio etc.
The former has A LOT of power, but are ultimately clueless about what people want and don't actually know how to do their jobs. They're glorified political consultants who are using their position to make lucrative wall st trades and secure private sector jobs for themselves and their family members and friends. In an economic crisis they would be exposed as the frauds they are because they'll have zero ideas on how to correct the ship without empowering the poor and middle class. They don't care about the poor because the trump tax cuts would benefit them personally.
It's in times of crisis where public servants who stand up and say "i hear what you're saying and here's what we can do about it based on what you've told me." Start to get some serious motion. The corporate democrats can only motivate you with fear and tell you that they're the less of two evils. The public servants will offer you policy that you actually want because they've taken your feedback seriously.
