Great article, but hold off on referencing Marshawn in the same breath as the brothers who pumped their fists @ the '68 Olympics.
I feel the brehs who are apprehensive about the inclusion of Marshawn in that company.

Although I long for the days of Muhammad Ali & John Carlos & Tommie Smith, I also understand that for this generation, someone who's personality echoes "rebel" & "edgy" for the sake of trendiness & cool factor may be an,integral part in restoring a sense of pride in our youth.

Furthermore, I'm only making the comparison under the assumption that he would have made an inspiring statement at that post-super bowl interview.

I will say though...the stage is wide open for another entertainer/athlete to make that impact. I'm impatiently waiting.

Thanks for reading & commenting breh!

Carroll couldn't have known what it would have meant in the grand scheme of things...

Or could he have:lupe:

I honestly don't think so. I really feel like he was being "clever", of course coaches have egos too. Let me try this "trickery", to see if I can win the game, but the Patriots knew what he was doing immediately and adjusted. :manny:

But honestly, it will go down, as literally one of those plays that makes no sense. I can't think of another play in my lifetime especially in football where I am like :whatthehell?:

The title was the hardest part to think of weirdly.
Well, the only reason I read the entire thing was to support you when I saw "coli-article". Good stuff though. I won the young author's conference when I was younger, wish I would have stayed with it but it's all good.

The thing about Lynch is that I really don't think he was doing this to have a platform for the black athlete or for any cause rather than that's just the way he is ever since he had that incident in Buffalo.

@DPresidential I was hoping you were going to connect his past history with the media into this story…would've been cool cause I have no idea what happened in Buffalo, nor do I think most people.

And I'm also sure most people don't realize that Seattle's front office tried to Dez Bryant him
