But the issue now is, solid upper midcarders/ main eventers like sheamus, Lashley, Rollins, Goontah are fighting for midcard titles… what are the actual midcarders fighting for?

I don't mind it. One knock for a long time seems like was no one cared about the IC/US titles. How do you fix that, by putting the belts on talent that people care about

Things will even out when Reigns drops and the titles split, then fans will be invested in the other two singles titles again plus world titles, it's a win-win

The US and IC titles being the titles defended on TV more often is a great way to build them back up again. This also gives the Undisputed title more prestige since it's mainly being defended at the big stadium shows.
