Black American boxing used to have all different styles represented at the top. Inside fighters, outside fighters, counter punchers, pure defensive. Just feels like the trend is just to be a midrange fighter with low output and get by on athleticism the past couple years or so. Smalls didn't really dig deep and try anything different. But was rewarded for it.
