Good fight and Parker needs to drop 10-15 lbs for the rematch, if there's a rematch.

Parker was dumb coming in at 260+ pounds. The only other time he came in that heavy was against Bakoli, and that only lasted 2 rounds. Wardley was 20 pounds lighter and looked like it. Parker's coach Andy Lee said "Oh we gonna stop Wardley in 2 rounds". Looks like they were trying to come in heavy to get an early stoppage. Dumb gameplan. Parker looked gassed after round 6

Man re-watching that stoppage I just don't see it. Parker threw a punch, Wardley threw three at him that all missed while Parker had head control, and then the ref jumped in the middle :scust:

This is the second shaky finish for Wardley, UK refs clearly showing some favoritism here.

Those "stay busy" fights always adding negative effects to the A-side fighter's stats :francis:

That's why I think Naoya and Junto should be fighting each other in December instead of having a set-up fight.

UK refs are notorious for quick stoppages whether warranted or not

I knew it !!! :russ:

Why the hell would you take this fight with a dangerous puncher when you already are the mandatory to fight Usyk:gucci:

Time he would of fought Usyk it would of been 2 years since he had a serious fight/outing. Only having the Bakole in-between then not good for Parker due to his age and losing fight rhythm. Sure he could of tune up to keep him ticking over until then but sometimes jeopardy is needed to keep you focus.

I watched the whole fight, but I was on the go, couldn't comment on the thread live

I think I found my Wilder 2.0 :mjcry::wow:

The lack of amateur experience, learning in the job, willpower, determination, that equalizer power punching

I feel sorry for @patscorpio cause I'm bout to annoy him with anything Fabio Wardley related :pachaha::mjlol:

One thing I would say that is different though. Wilder was a 2 trick pony that turned into a 1 trick pony later in his career. Fabio on the other hand is a 5 trick pony. He does have a slightly deeper bag
Lol wardley cool with me..it was the perfect storm for this outcome to happen..but wardley ko'ed a top 2-3 heavyweight in 20 fights..it took wilder like 40 to do that (@Tyrantus :umad:)..I dont think wardley is getting hyped up like wilder was and he does seem to be improving his boxing ability. However I need to see wardley fight more complete fights..hes still chinny and his stamina is yellow with a greenish tint..Usyk doesn't have much to fear outside of the power
