i forgot about word in black news so thanks for bumping. nabj is still on my short list for how they handled the trump interview but thanks for posting.

looking through their post and related media accounts, they got some good stuff.

didn't know there is a john lewis musical.



and looks like alelia has a new book out.



though, they're not getting much engagement on their post. gotta do more marketing and telling their story.

The audience has spoken, and they've chosen entertainment over information.
Black people who follow traditional journalism are a niche market.

WIB should study and try to replicate what Mr Johnson did with JET magazine. Looking back it was the perfect blend of news and entertainment.

Word In Black will publish content from The Houston Defender, The Washington Informer, The Dallas Weekly, The Baltimore-based AFRO, Michigan Chronicle, The Seattle Medium, The Sacramento Observer and St. Louis American on its website and newsletter.

There's an app called Ayiti that does something similar as well.
