I'm still pissed Fanatics and NBA store price gouged the jerseys. Damn near the whole site was on sale.

I got the news he died 3 minutes after TMZ broke the story. Checked the site just to see what they were going for. And they were on sale sellingfor $200-$220. Retail was $300-350 depending on the Jersey

I wasn't going to buy it. I love Kobe but I have other things I'd like to buy, but I checked back later to see if they sold out and everything was max price. A jersey that was selling for $220 in the early afternoon was now selling for $350.

Hey business is business but it just felt like poor taste to me and I've bought 3 custom named jerseys from them to give as gifts. Fanatics won't see a penny from me now.

this actually been one the weirdest weeks in my life and this capped it off.

every person who really knows me, the real me, not the guy you meet in a meeting at work or whatever, knows that kobe is legit my favorite athlete/celebrity/idol quite frankly. it's setting in, but it still doesn't feel seriously real.

today in itself been one of the weirdest days of my life. up there with the day that my father died or when MJ died and i just sat in front of the TV in a daze.

im trying to do things to keep my mind off it but this one is the worst ive felt in awhile...

it wasn’t like he had lived a long ass time and was on his deathbed in pain..

it wasn’t him just dying of old age or because of drugs...

it was him taking his daughter to her basketball game.... with friends and her teammates. Then to see that wreckage when there is literally damn near nothing left... i just hope they went instantly

For some reason this week I've been watching a lot of Kobe videos: interviews, bloopers, highlights, talked about him at work Friday. I loved the mentality that he had, which was the same as MJ. At his footwork was fukking ridiculous.
