Gotta add the most recent one of Shane LOSING at mania and still getting to run raw.
That story isn't confusing . The booking maybe but according to Vince he gained respect for Shane again seeing how far he went to try and secure wwe. And then he ran raw and had a huge social media response

1999 was a fukking TERRIBLE year for that, worst Attitude Era year by far

Wow there was a legit few year period where Trips, HBK, and Vince were all hogging up the main event scene. The DX stuff, the spirit squad, that whole era was just them having fun.
