Wow there was a legit few year period where Trips, HBK, and Vince were all hogging up the main event scene. The DX stuff, the spirit squad, that whole era was just them having fun.

It didn't draw, but boy did it look like they were having fun.

That DX reunion tour did big merchandise & live event business. Look at the crowds, plus it was the first time in like 7 years that HHH wasn't hogging up the main event scene. The watered down jokes were corny tho.

Personally, I liked nu-DX better than the original. Neither were funny, but I got more enjoyment out of them leaning in to how stupid it all was more than when they were young and thought they were actually being funny and edgy.

I liked both, had been waiting for the reformation for damn near four years after HHH turned on him. Only thing i disliked about the reformation is that they were hardly ever serious, they were just like New Day. Jokes, Jokes, & more Jokes. Only time i recall them being serious is during HBK's feud with Cena & partially when Orton/Edge linked up.
