you can start the journey by finding a good local church(visit as many to find one you like...)...also start out by listening to some hymns and then branch out to contemporary forms of music in the future.
Modern gospel music is more about beats than words...I like to stick with oldies and I'm a youngin myself.
Pick up an instrument and start playing.....

Those are just verses off the dome..but I don't really put much into the bible, i much rather have conversations with God through prayer. The bible is imperfect, mistranslated, edited...it would be a sin to take anything from that book and apply it to perfection that is our God. And do you honestly think God needs a book to teach his children?
