That's some od Wisconsin, Michigan, northern Indiana, and Cleveland downfall.

We for the most part adapted to modern day society a lot more. Its just some of the hoods are really bad and the cost of living much higher than anywhere where else in the Midwest.

The scariest place I've ever been was Richmond, VA around early 90 something.

It's not bad like it used to be but it was the murder capital or competing for the murder capital around that time. A crackhead jumped on the car trying to wash my mom's windshield. Drug dealing in broad daylight with no fukks given. Zombies walking around. Trash everywhere. Rows of abandoned dwellings. People staring like you were on the dinner menu. I thought Norfolk was bad, but Richmond different levels of back then.

I was on a work rotation in Pennsylvania last year, one weekend wanted to catch this all star high school basketball tournament in Chester. I didnt know anything about the area before driving in, thought I hit a wrong turn and was in camden

Having lived there - Wisconsin, outside of Milwaukee, is not bad for black folks. Milwaukee on the other hand is where all African American dreams go to die. It's an awful place in general, but for blacks folks it is a frozen hell on earth. Driving through the neighborhoods is like witnessing real life zombie apocalypse - walking around aimlessly with no hope in their eyes.

Makes me feel even more highly of myself that I am a Black male in NJ with a few college degrees and make more than double the national salary average..but I probably am lacking by coli standards because I do not have an IT cert and I'm only 6'0.

harrisburg is a pretty big historical site, one of the major underground railroad stops. those pennsylvania quakers were some good brehs. sorry to hear it's gone to shyt now.

not yet. I work for a city. I get a lot of perks and I don't work as hard as I used to when I was knocking down six figures door. I took a pay cut to pursue a field I'm passionate about. Without getting too personal I'm more less an assistant director for a 5 year government granted program. It will bring me to 6 figures with the window. If that helps.

Pittsburgh is home to the poorest black community IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY.

Most black people here are unemployed or severely underemployed. And the population of the whole city consists of mainly upper middle class to lower class white people and lower class/working poor blacks.

It's very racist too. And just depressing with the consistently grey weather, lack of sunshine, and nothing to do at all.
