You got kids in school? Who should walk the kids to the nurse’s office? Give me your alternative solution

Have the nurse come get them OR have the teacher escort them whilst donning a mask.

This isn't rocket science. If a kid is a sick, having ANOTHER kid escorting them down the hall while neither is mask is the height of stupidity. Even the article states that what the teacher was doing is a violation of school policy.

He/She should be fired and barred from teaching ever again. You wanna be that dumb then go work the fryer at Mcdonalds

can't social distance on a bus.. they may not have even bothered in the school.

This sh*t is a nightmare. Both my nieces had Covid three weeks ago and I was terrified. Only 7 and 5. I couldn’t help feeling like sh*t because they gotta grow up in this wack ass era. Thankfully they’re okay but still. They shouldn’t have had in person schooling this year.

Does the article state that the child wasn’t wearing a mask? If it does, was there a mask mandate at that school? I just told y’all dudes that mask mandates in elementary schools do not work….And you’re basically suggesting that the teacher or nurse who would be statistically more vulnerable catch the germ and check out… How many teachers do you know personally lil nikka

The teacher would catch these hands. Especially in a country where people virtue signal like hell that they care about the kids. Her being a hall monitor or whatever was fine, but there's a pandemic going on and she didn't need to be doing this right now. fukked up ass nation. One of the most advanced nations on the planet, and we don't have backup plans for how to function when a pandemic hits. And it's not like people haven't been saying this is something that should be implemented for ages now.

That nurse better bring her ass to the class. I don’t see how that falls to a 10 year old kid’s responsibility.

So how do you rationalize the nurse checking out? What if the nurse is extremely busy and has a kid she is examining and 2 more waiting? How is his or her role broken down from medical examiner to hall escort? If you’ve ever been to an ER, has the doctor that eventually examined you came to your seat in the waiting room and escorted you to the examination room

No matter how you slice it breh it’s not the responsibility of a 5th grader to be walking a Covid positive student to the nurses office. There’s somebody in the the school that could’ve came.
