So, this week marks 10 years since the release of Ghostface Killah's album Fishscale, 28th March 2006.

Now I know this has been debated on here as to how highly the album is thought of but to me it's a personal classic. This album opened up the whole of Wu-Tang to me (I was late to the genre in general). Ghost's name, the album cover and album title caught my eye and I bought Fishscale at random.

Shakey Dog :wow: good lord.

Kilo, that infectious hook :blessed:

The Champ :damn: :lawd: :wow: which completes this 3 track run :banderas:

Some of the skits on the album :pachaha: :dead:

I've always loved Three Bricks too :whoo:

I don't think there's a weak track on the album, there's stuff that I have to be in the mood to listen to but they're not weak to me.

As a sidenote - T.I,'s King also came out on the same day.

Straight out the fukkin' dungeons of rap
this is one of those albums that sounded just as good as it looked on paper. Half the album is DOOM, Dilla and Pete Rock and all 3 delivered. None of the songs from the aforementioned were below an 8.5/10 for me. Just Blaze also went hard with the Champ. Great album that has held up 10 years later.
