I'm not even trippin breh, but nikkas need to stop with that "they treated us like slaves, SOHH was so horrible to us" nonsense. If the site was so bad outside of the server (which is why this shyt was even necessary) then why were y'all there? The ones complaining the most ironically were the ones that served the least purpose there or anywhere for that matter. Not Femme's fault the server's stronger than the will power of some of y'all.

User experience? There's basically one difference between the two sites at the moment and that's the functionality of the server (and the fact that retards that got banned from SOHH can post here, but that wouldn't enhance user experience)

3) Smilies (not to be undervalued)

4) Ability to register quickly and easily

5) JBO forum

I have nothing against SOHH whatsoever unlike a lot of the people here, but saying that the server is the only difference is undercutting the value of all the other improvements.

Actually me being a mod would mean I know shyt about this whole situation that you couldn't possibly know, and I was the most recent mod out of those in the Coliseum, so for the most part, I was a regular poster just like y'all. If you think I don't understand or even sympathize with the legitimate beefs people have, you're lost. My point is that some of the shyt y'all are whining about is baseless.


The people who really weren't that important or necessary to the site to begin with are the ones bytching the most. They're the ones posting these stories about how SOHH fukked them over, how it was so tough to be a nuisance compared to years prior, how precious ass JBO got taken away from them even though it was y'alls fault for why the stricter regulations even came into play. I get being mad and frustrated about this whole thing. EVERYONE is, believe it or not, but for all the shyt you just complained about, the only thing worse than this supposed shytty treatment is the fact that not only did some of you take it, when you got banned, you came back for more. Why?

I remember when the JBO challenge ***** That's when the mods started cracking down. SOHH, in actuality is real lax compared to other forums on the web. The tight registration was in part due to dudes making a bunch of aliases.

I mean you would have thought after the loss of porn and pirated movies and shows and Big Business departure I would have thought it would have happened then, but no the final straw was them servers fukking up our tv sports watching and posting interaction.

I feel the same way. SOHH has given me much in the way of entertainment over the last couple years so I'm not anti-sohh in anyway. But the user experience & management here is already better than at any time I posted over there at SOHH.

speaking for myself, when i got put on the shytlist and started getting banned for literally nothing, i didnt leave sohh because i still liked posting there; i dont see why i would stop posting there just because some bytch admin had imaginary grudges with me...

my banning was one of the most unpopular bannings in SOHH history as well, so it wasnt like i was going to a site that didnt want me there....it was just femme's goofy ass that kept fukking with me for nothing

it isnt the same for everyone who was banned or wronged by SOHH and its staff, but as far as i'm concerned, i wasn't going to let some stupid stuck up jew nosed whore decide that i couldnt post on a site just because she didn't like me

I'm disappointed in you bx_rep, especially as a IC vet. Only reason us ahh heads chose the IC over sohh is because you could curse, embed pictures/videos, and the servers were better. So you mean to tell me a place is created that has the best qualities of ahh and sohh and it's just .

Stop talkin down and throwin salt in the game. No one wants to go back to that dump. Once the domain name fundraiser is done that'll be the nail in the coffin for sohh and any other Hip Hop site for that matter.

I know you didn't mean ME personally, but still don't lump me in with those idiots. I did as much as I could without mod powers to stop them from doing that shyt. Next thing I know, I go to log into SOHH and it is down for months.

I didn't return for a year or two once it came back up, and when I did I couldn't access my old account that I had for nearly a decade. I tried signing up with new names and they were never activated, even using paid email addresses. That is a HUGE problem...when you have long time forum users who frequently posted and helped build SOHH into what it was that could no longer post.

I wonder if the same fate was met by some of the other guys that used to post a lot and who's names I haven't seen since I came back....Nabs, Kaodik, etc.

Man, the servers at AHH weren't that great either. Don't act like we didn't bytch about Odeisel's shytty servers as well, and some of the mods had ban power there that were doing all that stupid fukkery that got them shut down time and time again. Don't get it twisted, I love the IC, but there's a reason why we wound up at SOHH, and it's similar to why we're here now. And I'm not knocking The-Coli AT ALL. Aside from some fools that are here that weren't wanted or missed at SOHH, nothing's wrong.
