Look up and down the pages. Look at every thread on the site. Everybody is green except for ppl who set their status to appear to be offline. It's like this all day, 24/7.

Does it only detect your online status when on the coli or does it know I'm on even if I don't have a browser page open? Interesting point on the online status indicator.

I dont know, but I'm about to leave & go to the store, so in about 5 mins, look at my my post here and tell me if I'm still "green" or not. I'm not logging out, but just turning off my laptop.

Then we will know what's going on.

Maybe the site doesn't log you out unless you do it manually, so most people are still considered online

Exactly. So this is possibly why the numbers are so high. The more new members that sign up, they are automaticaly "online" all the time, unless they hit logout(which I never do).

I'm pretty sure on sohh, when you leave the site, after a few mins it shows u "offline" whether you actually logged out or not.

i know homie dont get it twisted i wasnt pissed (i can say that over here) You still my dude (pause). Yea that is a good point.I can actually see 4000 people on here.Remember a good majority are "lurkers" so it must be accurate. On SOHH it says how many users and how many viewing.
