In secondary school a girl I was linked with platonically (very dense at the time) went and disappeared for like a week and made it appear like I kidnapped her. I had a reputation as a bit of an insane guy in school but I never caused actually trouble so I was surprised her friends blamed me for it as she claimed she was meeting me somewhere to her friends. Turns out she was shacked up with some older dude.

Called the cops on me after slapping the dog shyt out of me for coming home late
This was early in my Postal Carrier(quit last year) and finishing up school
She didn’t check her phone to see the text on me being late
Came in the house and she was frothing at the mouth
Was called every name in the book
I let her get that shyt off because I knew some was Postpartum and being with my daughter all day by herself
Then she accused me of cheating
And I called her a crazy bytch
Hit me and after the daze and my glasses flying off
I hemmed her up by her shirt to our kitchen wall and basically told her I would end her if she ever did that again
Let her go and went to pick my daughter up because she was crying by that time from all the bullshyt
She went and locked herself in the bathroom
15 minutes later HPD was at our house
Talked to them calm and showed them my face
They asked if I wanted to press charges
I said no and just left to my moms house
Stayed for about three days and she left a million voice mails
Went home that Sunday and she was beside herself told her she can’t be acting like this and I would never hit her but I was close
Soon after went to marriage counseling and I learned a bunch of shyt about her past
Tried to keep the marriage going but that was the nail in the coffin
Ex and I have been good now for the last 16 years and my current wife and I have never even had something like that
nikkas and bytches talk about vetting
Good people still can surprise you in the end
No amount of vetting will truly tell you who a person is
Lesson learned to never put anything past anyone

i trained/transferred my work responsibilities to my clueless laterally promoted (cac female) manager before i left for vacation.

then once i came back she said she got the hang of it now, and essentially stole my entire job role which was layoff proof.

she also apparently asked our director while i was gone (who looked out and told me this when i returned)

“so why do we even need africngiant anymore now?”

my accounting responsibilities have now moved over for an entity that’s about to get sold off.

her own entity that she was responsible for journaling for prior is also about to get sold off so she obviously saw my absence as an opportunity to finesse me out of my job
