A little somber, and will probably delete in a few days, but a neighbor who was a sophomore (and beyond) in HS molested me and my brother from the ages of 6 to 11. She took his virginity at 11. It didn’t matter if we were playing with friends, or her brothers who were our age, she would find a way to isolate one of us and repeatedly touch us, make us touch her, and/or expose herself to us.
When I lost a toy outside she stripped naked in front of everyone and forced me to put my fingers in her vagina until I cried. Then laughed like “I guess it isn’t up there”.
It fukked us both up as we got older. It gave my brother a really bad temper to the point of shooting/shooting at people. It made us both really cautious, dismissive and mistrustful when dealing with women. We never told anyone because she did it with a lot of boys she got access to, it just became the norm and we both locked it away. We thought it was what we were supposed to do.
I ran into her when we were grown, at an event for one of her brothers, she had two sons of her own and couldn’t look me in the face. She just walked off looking down. I was somewhat at peace then but hoped she worried about the same thing happening to her own, especially how it could affect their development.
It also made me hypersexual with women and I struggled to maintain romantic relationships because I would go emotionally numb after I fukk, and just wanted to keep fukking with other women. I would just ghost them and rationalize that they just wanted the sexual aspect and wouldn’t miss me like that. When they showed too much interest It was a struggle to not to think “what she want me like that for?”. It took a minute to deal with it and relax enough to let women love me outside of fukking.
I’m very thankful for my girl who is very patient and understanding, even though I never told her what happened to me growing up. It took a while for me to accept that she is really into me and I was able to stop pretending to be really into her, and truly enjoy her for who she is. She’s my best friend.
I decided not to put this in a “spoiler”. I know I’m not the only one who grew up like this, and I hope it encourages someone, who needs it, to deal with the confusion in a healthy way, like therapy or just venting.

Ex got engaged in my home and asked my brother in law whose a pastor to do her wedding just to rub it in my face
Had an ex physically assualt me when I was driving just started punching me almost got into an accident
But prob the worst Was engaged told everyone and then she changed her mind . That messed me up for years.
