Now that BET doesn't play videos anymore the top talent don't need to do shyt for free anymore because they have no incentive to. It's not like BET can threaten to not play their shyt. The 2 musical guests they had was Keyshia Cole and Wale my nikka. 14 years it's been on the air and those are the only 2 acts they could get? That's comical.

they could threaten not to hand them anymore undeserved awards in june.

but it sounds like BET didnt put any real effort into this. theres plenty of 106th & park all-star artists that wouldve jumped at the chance to be on such a platform.

you think people that used to run the countdown 8-14 years ago that arent really around anymore wouldve turned down an invite?

i remember they gave a shabby sendoff to rap city too. the only real highlight was joe clair dissin toure' at the end of the show.
