Somebody I Am
Niles and Bernard (RIP) invented disco.

WHo's to say the album won't come and go, without makin big noise, like Human After All did back in 2005??
Human After All was basically a "fukk you" to their old label, they whipped it together in two weeks, improvising everything.
This album has been in the works since 2008. Hopefully it'll show.
Also it seems like people are hungry for something new in the electronic music scene... this whole dubstep craze is getting boring.
Human After All kickstarted the whole "lets turn the compressor up to 11, and make it extra dirty" electro trend, maybe RAM will bring another big change
It's a good song. Pharrells part is ok, the beat is good though. Which bothers me, it sounds like their earlier work, which is French House/disco, but that's what bothers me. In hip hop people would throw a fit if rappers continued to have the same sound for several years. Can you imagine Wu coming out with something sounding similar to 36 chambers in 2013? They'd be bashed. Am I wrong?
The more I listen to it, the more it sounds like some Breakbot/Chromeo throwaway tracks and less and less impressive.
Of course Chromeo and Breakbot were spending the majority of their careers trying to sound like Daft Punk, but that tells you, since their last studio album, this is the best they have?
Hopefully there's more to the song.
They don't break any new ground but the sound is somewhat different. They ditched the heavy sidechained compression/filter French Touch sound to have more of a live feel.
But yeah the first time I heard the song it felt like an updated version of something like
Stardust Music Sounds Better With You (High Quality) - YouTube
I like Breakbot but he can't make a song as jamming as that
A lot of time his shyt sounds stiff.
