What'd she say about him?
Spoke glowingly of him every time. He didn’t think he was gonna get picked from the second he showed up. Self depreciating humor during the interview. And her describing him just brought back all the memories :mjcry: talking about his coaching background the stuff he did for Minny as governor his family and his son crying during the DNC thing

They would have been a good family in the White House

I’ve read all three of Harris’s books — “Smart on Crime” was published in 2009 and “The Truths We Hold” in 2019 — and the sense they give collectively is that of a prosecutor, a senator and a presidential candidate genuinely wanting to do good but letting that good be defined by the party orthodoxies of the moment. She’s right that the Democrats must offer a new vision, but she had 107 days on the campaign trail, not to mention four years in the White House, to develop and propose one. Was that not enough time?

Maybe Biden could have left earlier. Maybe the Democrats would have emerged stronger from a process to select a nominee. Maybe with something more than 107 days, Kamala Harris could have found that elusive blueprint.
But if you’re not sure what you stand for, more time doesn’t help you. It only exposes you.

Years ago I would have read this, but I don't need to anymore.

As someone who lives in Omaha (Terrence Crawford literally walked down my block like five days after his last fight--I knew he lived somewhat close to me but that blew my mind), Tim Walz is what a lot of rural Nebraskans like to pretend they are like while JD Vance is actually what a lot of them are like.

She'll get her chest caved in, in either the primary or in the general.

She just went scorched earth, and declined to run for the gubernatorial election in California. Her future is in lucrative book tours on what could have been if not for her fecklessness.

Good riddance.
ouch but fair
