I think the America people at this particular point in history would prefer a liar that sounds like they're telling the truth rather than someone that's telling the truth that sounds like they're lying. It's stupid. But it's a natural outcome of being so focus grouped that you're incapable of sounding like you're speaking frankly.

There's a bit in the review about the party existing g in opposition to trump so they're forced to take counter psoitijs on everything.but I don't think that's true, I think if they followed through on that it would be something, instead we have the Dems doing a lot of the same but in a nice way.

There's also some claim that this helps Buttigieg and I can't for the life of me get how. He appeals to the same people that have ultimately got us to this point. The MSNBC cultists, the sentient Patagonia vests, the west wing obsesses people that think there's compromise to be found on issues for which in the past there was none. People's individual rights shouldn't be bargaining chips .
