Frame rate is easier felt while controlling/playing a game than it is perceived. Some people won't be able to tell the diff until the pad is in their hands. MS knows this.

anyone that tells you that they can spot the difference between a game running 720p (or insert res. lower than 1080p) and 1080p is a fukkin liar....30fps and 60fps is the only thing you can spot because of how smooth the latter is.

They bugging. I could notice 900p from 1080p.

no you can't

Gonna be great for MP but I got a feeling it's gonna be weird looking for SP or maybe I'll take a minute to get used to it...
It'll look fine.
Remember someone saying it looked incredible?
Played some #TLOU at 60 fps tonight for the first time (60fps cutscenes and all). Transformitive. I'm a believer. Don't think I can go back.— Kurt Margenau (@kurtmargenau)

Okay resolution isn't that big a deal. However it IS noticible if you have a 1080P TV. It just is.

However small the difference may be, if two consoles are the same price and one outputs multiplats at a higher resolution, I'm going with that one

How far you sit from your TV? I'm pretty close, i can easily tell the difference. when i copped my 1080p TV and played my pc games in 1080p the difference was almost night and day. this was between a 37" and a 39". Heck, lower your resolution on your pc monitor to 1280x720 and tell me it's no difference :rudy:.

I think YOU may be the one telling :duck:.

it's a small difference...i've had a 1080p tv for years...it's oen of the first things I did...check how games look in 720p, 1080i and 1080p...the only change i have ever noticed without trying to squint or change the distance from where I sat....was frame rate...the first time I played MW2 (which I think was the first 60fps COD) I was blown away....I was fresh off playing halo 3 5 mins prior to swapping discs and I noticed it immediately....and I can't wait to play the MCC with 60fps

I sit close...I don't see a difference....sorry

you do know that the test you did with the games was wrong right? There's hardly any native 1080p games on Ps3/360 so they wouldn't really look better on 1080p tvs since it's just gonna upscale it. You have to have used a PC with games that can actually render at 1080p. Testing out a 360 or ps3 with.a 1080p tv would make it seem like there's really nothing different.

I know that I would have to use a PC for better results....but I don't do PC gaming...and as far as my eyes are concerned...I don't see a difference on any of my tv's....shyt I don't even see a difference when I game on my monitor...

Bluray movies would be a great start. batman the dark knight looked incredibly crisp on my 1080p set. You could also compare halo 4 to theXbox one version but I don't think you would even bother trying that out when you got better halo titles to play.
