1080p? 60 FPS? Microsoft Challenges Gamers to Spot The Difference

It's the same reason why games like UFC and Asscreed released at 900p and no one noticed until digital foundry said it and ubi/ea released a patch. Same reason why games like KI and Ryse were shown off at e3 and people including digital foundry thought they were 1080p until a formal analysis.

This is my point. Many of the people arguing this stuff don't even know what's what till digital foundry comes out and says this is XXXXp then they run with that and troll. If nobody was telling them they'd look at these games and go that looks good enough.

i wouldn't of even noticed a difference in the pixels if it weren't for the still-shots. the biggest difference i ever saw was going from a crt tv to an hd one. past that the shyt is almost miniscule..it basically just looks like a sharper/clearer image.i also remember someone posting a street fighter character showing the difference between 30-60 fps and that wasn't that big either. people just like nitpick at stupid shyt.
i will say that for the same exact price i'm buying the one that is supposed to perform better tho

this is what it is in a nutshell....Art direction(the biggest influence) textures, lighting and whatever the fukk else are going to make more of a difference then fps or resolution....all the PC niccas talking that blowing the consoles out the water are pouring jelly on them selves.....yes it looks better but doesn't make the console counter part unplayable...

I could notice the difference from 50 to 60fps easily. All you have to do is move the camera around and notice the judder effect.

that's because of vsync. you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference using gsync (or whatever the AMD equivalent is called)

except the typical AAA console game doesn't run at 60FPS because the developers lower it to 30 so they can get more out of the console.
