i picked canelo but it wasnt because of head to head ability it was more of how bivol had been moving before that on top of the "sway" canelo has

canelo won no more than 3 rounds if youre being generous in that fight and somehow all 3 judges scored that shyt 115-113 for bivol with all of them scoring the same rounds exactly :camby: get the fukk outta here

That fight was over by the 6th round.

i dont know if i can agree with that..you know how i get when i see big dudes getting bullied by smaller fighters

canelo getting boxed up as well as bullied by bivol was beautiful but also right in the pecking order of things

zurdo was an affront to what i feel :hhh: lol

I can't remember Canelo landing anything clean so thats why i said that :manny:

The odds DO matter with regard to the point youre trying to make. He wasn't just a favorite he was heavily favored and picked by just about every boxing expert to win big.

Bivol and GGGs corpse was not and is not a greater challenge than the PBC deal who ALSO had elite fighters. He took the fight because he thought he could easily overwhelm him like he does all the other plain euros he always scraps.

Canelo didn't lose because of size or weight, y'all really need to stop it with that. He was OUTCLASSED point blank.

yup all facts my nikka

Bivol was a cherry pick gon wrong for Canelo. Dude was a 5-1 favorite against a guy that was looking mid for like the last 3 years. Bivol for all his technical skill and size was still looked at as a easier time than a Charlo/Benevidaz fight that would be huge in Texas. Canelo was enjoying the match making against boxers and wanted to keep that going because it made him look better than he was.

Winning 2 rds tops against Bivol and letting ancient GGG come back and snag 4 late rds is very telling. He had to come out with the injury excuse to save face afterwards. He knew damn well he couldn't face them pbc nikkas with an injury.

I'm not defending Canelo and a cherry pick gone bad with Bivol but it's obvious to anyone with two eyes 2017-2019 was his peak. The best he looked was vs either Saunders or Cotto. He's physically slowing down A LOT. Beating a shot Kovalev gave him a total overblown ego of his LHW status.

His stamina, which was always his weakness, looks like total ass now. Look how many times he pulls at his trunks now and breathes heavy.

And his combinations look totally predictable. He's completely abandoned his jab with the idea he can build points or get a KO.

He's an old 32. That being said, Bivol kicked his ass.

Canelo would have been favourite against the PBC options too and would have been picked to win those fights too. Of course Bivol was a bigger challenge, considering he lost and it was at a higher weight, Bivol is a superb technical boxer, not a good style for Canelo at all. And yes the size and weight class along with the skill was a big factor, Canelo's punches were not effecting Bivol the same way it effected someone like Plant who he stopped, it was a combination of skill plus the higher weight class and size/reach advantage. Bivol wasn't a weak champion, he's arguably the best in the division at a higher weight class, was a massive challenge, obviously considering he lost the fight. He may have thought he could beat him yeah, but he didn't, I'm sure he would have thought he could beat anybody, even said he would wanna fight Usyk but doesn't mean he'd win.

I'm the greatest, something like Ali in his prime
Wonderful performance from Bivol! However I think Beterbiev will stop him.

On another note I hope Bivol doesn't consider going down to 168. That sort of weight cut could mess him up. Besides even if he successfully makes it without comprising his performance in the ring, the judges won't let him take Canelo's belts.

Lol at little g winning 4 rounds against canelo:mjlol:.....scary ass clown won 1 round then almost got split in half by a body shot then jumped right back on his bicycle. Canelo put the fear of god into little g after that beating in the rematch. And this 3rd fight proved it.

Same dudes calling bivol a cherry pick gone wrong were saying Callum smith and Caleb plant were gonna expose canelo. The receipts are still out there:sas1:...This is what happens when you can't swallow your pride and admit you can't pick a fight for shyt. Anybody with two eyes could see bivol was gonna give canelo hell. He had all the skillets and attributes. But people got too much pride to give canelo his props. Dude has BEEN taking on risky fights since he was in his early 20's fighting Austin trout and Lara.

Bivol is amazing technically hopefully we get him vs Beterbiev

His head and feet movement honestly impresses me the most. You know most guys from Ukraine/Eastern Europe/Russia tend to be very stiff and robotic ala Wladimir or GGG but technically on point. This dudes head and feet movement and darting in and out is nuts. This is on top of highly technical skills. Dude is the shyt.

Canelo just ran into a better fighter. He does need to stay at 168

After his defeat against Russian Dmitry Bivol on Saturday, Zurdo Ramirez said he fought the fight he expected, and although the result did not favor him in the end, he was happy with his boxing display.
"I did my job, I threw a lot of punches to the body, but at the end of the day the judges did their job," he told DAZN."I think I did enough to win, but at the end of the day the judges did their job, and I congratulate Bivol.
"I feel grateful to be here. Thank you all, I hope you enjoyed the fight."
