Well, I followed that up slightly revising my opinion :
It wasn't anything I haven't seen in a Brock Lesnar match many times before.
It was a good match, the will they or won't they suspense is always there but it's a by-the-book Brock Lesnar match.
I'll stand by my nerdy whiny cynical opinion. Fukk YOUR opinion.
this was not standard brock, wtf are you talking about, he hasnt sold like this since goldberg, even when he lost to roman it took an outside distraction, he straight up dominated everyone else. Brock hasnt looked this much in trouble in a long time. you are biased
The only thing noteworthy about the main event were its participants.
For some it was a dream match and I can understand that attachment, but it wasn't MOTN for me.
AJ almost tapped Lesnar too.
I never once believed that AJ was going to beat Lesnar, in my memory that was more of a squash than this.. it looked like AJ got in a few moves and gave it all he had but brock was way to big and strong for it to have any effect on him.
This year bryan told an amazing story of how he had a trick up his sleeve to steal a win, he basically did the rope a dope and waited for an opening and then he went off. that moment when he had him in the yes lock looked like brock was about to tap, especially after Bryan worked the knee all match. It was match of the night cause it had a clean finish and it told a hell of a story. You are tripping, you must not like brock or bryan and are being biased, maybe you were in a bad mood idk but you are crazy to have not been impressed witht that match.

your opinion of it being a squash or disapointing or whatever negative connotation you are trying to attach to this

there is no story going on there and im sure it didnt offer anything that I couldnt get from nxt or nxt uk.. I just wasnt interested, these shows run too long to be giving EVERYONE a full watch..

There wasn't anything clever about anything that Daniel Bryan did, he began the match trying to bait Brock into chasing him around the ring.
That quickly ended 2 minutes into the match and from there Brock completely dominated him complete with an F5.
That first F5 had Daniel Bryan beat, but Brock himself broke the pinfall to continue pummeling Bryan.
He was not playing rope a dope, he was getting manhandled and was decidedly beat until Chioda got knocked out.
Kicking Brock in the nuts wasn't some brilliant storytelling strategy, it's about as lazy as you can get in booking a match.
Brock dominates an underdog, it always sets up for a hot comeback, it's enjoyable in a popcorn flick sort of way.
That's what this was, and that's your average Brock Lesnar match. If you enjoyed it great, it was fun, but I found
myself more invested in other matches and much more invested in Takeover the night before.
I mean, the crowd chanted "same old shyt" when Brock was getting heat on the babyface (or is he a heel, or a tweener, whatever).

“This was a complete disappointment as I was hoping for a great hoss fight, instead, it was a lazy house show match with a guy pissing his pants and the AOP getting a “lucky win.” This was bad and the booking completely let these guys down; it was embarrassing bullshyt.”

“This was a painfully mediocre match with way too much Shane McMahon vanity booking. Yes he lost, but we have to have Shane get all of his shyt in and look better than anyone else on his team, I’m beyond over it.”
Every single match with Shane is like this, but people have put up with it since they know he’s an actual wrestling fan and took a break from the WWE. Had he stayed on tv like Vince and Steph over the years, people would be just as sick of him too.

My best matches were the pre show match and Seth-Nak.
I feel like yall are wildly overrating the Ronda-Char match. It was good. but it wasn't special.
Sometimes I feel like we ALL overrate shyt b/c it has heat. Ronda and Char are over and controversial in their own ways so a match involving them will have heat. That doesn't mean the matches are great. And the kendo stick is so fukking overdone. It's the lamest weapon in pw history.
Ronda's a pale white woman. A fukking handshake would leave a mark on her. The kendo stick will ALWAYS be wack. And then Ronda no-sells the chair spot. THe fukk???
And Brock-DB WAS a squash. Anytime a heel lands their finisher(ESPECIALLY if they only land it once), they go for the pin attempt, then BREAK UP THEIR OWN PIN ATTEMPT....then STILL win later on WITH NO FUKKERY.....it's a squash.
A fun squash...but still a squash. This match was like some HHH-Hurricane Helms 2002 type shyt. fukk it....most were entertained.
