Only seen Swerve vs Hangman and that was a legit spectacle. The first one I've seen from AEW were the all the excess and extra gimmicks didn't felt like "too much", too goofy or cartoony. Good luck to anyone else in the company ever having a blood feud match like that one without going too extra (like every Mox match basically).

Swerve winning was now it doesn't matter if he losses a third match (I guess inside a cage to avoid interference and a stipulation so Swerve accepts another match) because he'll still have more Ws AND he beat Hangman on his match while hanging him

it was the main point of his debut. Issue was, his debut was immediately overshadowed by Danielson and then it got drifted away from.
I say that to say, the foreshadowing on AEW TV exists. But it's been buried. Mostly because he was in NXT by the time White joined BC
