His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has hinted at putting together a super card in November.

Now, that card may have its main event.

Alalshikh announced on X that undefeated WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. will defend his title against undefeated former two-division champion Devin Haney on a Riyadh Season card. The date and venue will be announced at a later date.

Norman (28-0, 22 KOs) is coming off a Knockout of the Year contender against Jin Sasaki on June 19 in Japan. The hard-hitting welterweight from Georgia dropped Sasaki twice in the first round before dropping him once more with a devastating left hook in the fifth round to earn the victory in enemy territory and the second defense of his title.
Norman is The Ring’s No. 1 ranked welterweight. Unified IBF and WBA welterweight champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis also holds The Ring belt, though he announced that he’s moving up to junior middleweight in his next fight.

Haney (32-0, 15 KOs), a former undisputed lightweight champion and WBC junior welterweight champion, earned a unanimous decision victory over former unified junior welterweight champion Jose Ramirez on May 2 at Times Square in New York. Haney will be in his first fight at welterweight when he faces Norman.

Alalshikh also named Vergil Ortiz vs. Ennis, Christian Mbilli vs. Lester Martinez, Moses Itauma vs. Martin Bakole and Andy Cruz vs. William Zepeda as fights he was hoping to put together in November during a roundtable interview with The Ring’s Mike Coppinger, Rick Reeno and Ish Hinson.

YOOOOOOO props to Devin man.

Out of everyone he came up with he really tries to make the big fights happen.

Shout out to Dev and his Pops. Norman Sr and Jr both cool too.

Didn't Turki mention something about "Tom and Jerry fights". That's how I see Devin getting a win if he were to win he not walking Norman down and pressuring him to a KO/TKO. Unless he see something he can exploit in norman.

This is a good fight I hope everything goes through up to the fight date.

Also Alalshikh potentially having Vergil, Boots, Bakole, Andy and Zepeda all on the same card would be crazy.

Props to Haney for moving the way a young fighter & champ should be moving. But I don't know what he & his team see in Norman Jr. that they can exploit. Norman Jr. ain't the heavy feet Prograis. Maybe they'll try to frustrate him with all that lateral movement like his last fight

Haney is 1 fight off being given CTE by Roid Garcia

His previous match cannot be called a fight

His last time out he fought all 12 rounds like it was the final seconds of the last round of the fight and he was up on the scorecards in a shutout victory

He’s not ready for Brian “All-Timer” Norman Jr

Now this is an intriguing fight. Two really young guys. A lot of questions. Norman isn’t a big ww but is he too strong for Devin? Is Devin still shellshocked? Does Norman have the skills to beat a pure boxer? I am picking Norman in this one only because of how Devin looked in his past two fights. Devin was gonna make a big fight next that should not have been in question but I think Norman is a better fight for him stylistically than Hitchins but either are tough fights.
