Random thought, but the biggest issue I have these matches is that's it's never in question who's going to win.
Even the divas matches.
I remember years ago when I watched wrestling how the midcard singles wrestlers and tag teams were all fairly likely to win against each other.
You really couldn't predict who would go over as much as you can now.
I definitely remember in WCW being everytime there was cruiserweight title match.
I had no idea who was going to pull it out because the majority of those top guys in that division (Rey, Eddie, Jericho, Kidman, Juventud, ect.) all had credibility and could go over on any given night.
Here, it's always obvious who the winner is or when the match is going to end in DQ.
I knew Ziggler and Rollins would end in DQ.
We all knew Emma wasn't beating Bella.
