so without their All-Star big man they still went above their season average, what am I missing here

the defense sucks

Dont get me wrong the defense is not great but what the Heat did last night is not out of ordinary.

They have the most points per game in the East atm

Thats without Herro all year long and Bam missing 5 games in a row. Their offense is legit.

They gave up 130+ to a team averaging 125.

Just prior to that, they gave up 120+ to Memphis & Orlando and both teams are bottom 10 in scoring.

You want to add all these qualifiers when you yourself are admitting the defense "is not great" right now? It's your world.

A W is a W. But outside of the Minnesota game, I aint really been impressed with the team on that end of the court in a while.

Nah, I’ve said the same about the defense myself breh

Just illustrating that the Heat offense doing all this is not an anomaly.

In that case I respect the fact the Knicks outscored them more. Sometimes you got to beat motherfukkers at their own game.

a random Knick player had a career game in NY? You sure that wasn’t a heat player?

What you expect when your two biggest players are defensive sieves? Towns is a godawful defender and a terrible screener. This team is cooked without Mitch.

Idk I think between Mitch, OG, and Deuce and to a lesser degree Hart and Bridges are good defenders. The team has players that can defend 1-5. I just don’t think that is a priority this early into the season with a new system.

Like Brunson/Kat are bad enough defenders you’re not wrong. Hiding two people is really tough, but it could be a coaching system at this point.
